Terms of delivery
These terms of delivery concern Helsinki Outlet Oy’s (hereinafter “Helsinki Outlet”) online store helsinkioutlet.fi. By using the Helsinki Outlet online store, the customer approves these terms and undertakes to comply with them.
Helsinki Outlet has the right to amend these terms by publishing the updated terms on the online store website. Orders are subject to the terms valid at the time of placing the order.
Helsinki Outlet only accepts orders placed via the helsinkioutlet.fi website. Products cannot be ordered by phone or email. In connection with an order, the customer must provide all information required for placing an order. For fiscal reasons, orders placed on the website are delivered only to mainland Finland (not to the Åland Islands). The delivery address must be the customer’s registered address.
An age limit of 18 years is applied to purchases at the Helsinki Outlet online store.
Helsinki Outlet has the right to cancel a transaction in case of obvious price errors in which the product price clearly and materially deviates from the correct price of the product. In such cases, the price deviates from the correct price so substantially that the customer is considered to understand the erroneous nature of the price.
Right of exchange does not apply to products purchased at the online store.
Product discounts are always effective as long as the stock lasts, unless stated otherwise.
The Helsinki Outlet online store website contains links to external websites related to deliveries and payment transactions. Helsinki Outlet is not responsible for the content and functionality of external service providers’ websites.
Orders and deliveries
Making purchases at our online store is easy, safe and quick.
The following payment methods are available: Walley Checkout, which offers payment methods: Mobilepay, direct bank- and card payment, Mobilepay, invoice or payment in instalments. Read more here.
The order becomes binding upon delivery of the confirmation of order to the email address provided by the customer.
The customer may choose the preferred option from the following delivery methods:
• Pick-up from the Helsinki Outlet store (€ 0)
• Pick-up from a post office or Smartpost point (€ 4,99)
• Posti Home Delivery (€ 9,99)
The method of delivery can be selected in connection with check-out. The delivery charge is paid in connection with the purchase.
When the order is packed and ready for delivery, the customer is messaged a tracking code for tracking the progress of delivery.
In addition, the customer may also opt to pick-up the package from a chosen Helsinki Outlet store. In that case, the customer is required to present a proof of identity and the confirmation of order in connection with the pick-up.
Helsinki Outlet strives to ship the orders within 3–5 business days from the confirmation of order. Helsinki Outlet is not responsible for delays of delivery not attributable to the operation of the online store. Delivery times may be extended due to, for example, public holidays or postal delivery build-ups and delays.
If the product ordered is not available or out of stock, Helsinki Outlet will contact the customer. Where necessary, Helsinki Outlet has the right to cancel the transaction, in which case the undelivered product will be refunded to the customer. Helsinki Outlet has the right to limit the number of products ordered per customer.
In compliance with the Finnish Consumer Protection Act, the consumer has the right to cancel a transaction without particular reason within 14 days of receiving the product(s). We comply with the right to cancel a transaction within 14 days as provided for in the Act. The cancellation of transaction shall be notified to Helsinki Outlet by email at firstname.lastname@example.org or by mail to Helsinki Outlet Oy, Tatti 17, FI-00760 Helsinki within a maximum of 14 days from receiving the product(s).
Should the customer cancel a transaction, they shall return the received product(s) to Helsinki Outlet without delay, but no later than within 14 days from submitting the cancellation notification. The product(s) shall be returned by post, and the package must be marked with the return address label and contain a completed return form. The product(s) may not be returned by personal delivery to a Helsinki Outlet store.
With regard to hygiene or intimate products and sealed packages, the right to return only concerns unopened packages. For hygienic reasons, we do not accept returns of:
(1) Underwear, socks or swimming suits whose hygiene tape or package has been removed or products that Helsinki Outlet can consider used and thus unfit for sale.
(2) Cosmetics products whose package has been opened.
The returned product must be unused and in its original packaging, and all tags and price markings must be in place. All of the product’s components, including any operating manuals and packaging materials, must be returned. The customer is liable to ensure that the returned product is fit for sale. If the product has been used or handled carelessly or it has been washed prior to returning it, the customer is liable for the loss of the product’s value up to its full price.
A product returned contrary to the return instructions will not be refunded, and the product will not be returned to the customer.
A cancelled order returned in compliance with the return instructions is refunded to the customer no later than within 14 days of receiving the cancellation notification, provided that the products have been returned to Helsinki Outlet or the customer presents proof that the products have been sent back. Received transactions are refunded using the same payment method the customer used.
Vendor’s liability for defects
If a delivered product is defective, the customer must notify the vendor of the defect as soon as possible after detecting the defect. The notification must be submitted by email at email@example.com or by mail to Helsinki Outlet Oy, Tatti 17, FI-00760 Helsinki. Complaints cannot be made directly to a Helsinki Outlet store. A complaint does not lead to rescinding the transaction, but, in principle, the product will be fixed or replaced.
The vendor is liable for defective products under Finnish law.
Failure to pick up a product
Failure to pick up a product from a post office is not registered as a product return. Instead, returns must be carried out in compliance with Posti’s instructions. Helsinki Outlet does not compensate for return costs incurred otherwise than in accordance with these terms.
In case of a dispute, the customer may take the matter to the Consumer Disputes Board (link to the CDB website).
