We renewed the Helsinki Outlet Friends program!

As a thank you for being our Friend, we want you to benefit from the membership even more. You now get loyalty points for your visits to Helsinki Outlet and for purchases you make in our stores and online.

The membership now has three tiers: Friends, Close Friends and Best Friends. 

The more points you collect, the higher the tier level you will reach - and the better benefits you will get.

Friends under 500 points, Close Friends 500 points, Best Friends 1000 points.

Points are valid for 365 days.

Already a Friends member? 

Following our terms update, existing members need to re-register in the app to maintain their membership. Please register with the same email address as before.

In order to collect points for purchases in stores and online, as well as for visits to the Outlet Village, 

you must download the Helsinki Outlet Friends application.

Where can I download the Helsinki Outlet Friends application?

Member: Download the app from the App Store or Google Play Store! If you are already a member, log in to the app using your existing credentials. 

Non-members: Download the app from the App Store or Google Play Store!  Register to become a Friends member within the app. 

How do I use the app within the store?

Collect points on your purchases by scanning your receipts. You will automatically earn points with each visit to our shopping village.

What information does the app require from me?

Member: If you are already our member, simply log in to the application. Additionally, you may also update your profile with any missing information. 

Non-members: To become a Friends member, register in the app and accept our membership terms. During registration, we will request the following information: first and last name, email address, and telephone number. If you wish, you can change your contact information later on the app.

How do I know if I am already a member?

You know you are a member if you are receiving our newsletters via email. You can also try to log in with your credentials. If you have forgotten your password, select the option “forgotten password”. 

Why can't I log in even though I'm already a Helsinki Outlet Friends member?

We have updated our terms and conditions, so both new and existing Friends members need to re-register when downloading the app. If you are already a member, please use the same email address you previously used to join.

Why am I unable to log in to the app?

You need to accept our terms and conditions in order to become a member.

How do the membership levels work, and what do they consist of?

Earn points from your visits and purchases! The more points you collect, the higher you progress in the levels—and the better benefits you receive. We reward the best Friends according to membership level and activity. 

Will I receive pop-up notifications from Helsinki Outlet when I log in or register?

After logging in, you can accept the notification settings. You can modify notification settings from your phone's Settings menu. 

Do my points expire?

Membership points are valid for 12 months from your last purchase or visit. You will receive a notification before your points expire.

Can I collect points without the app?

Unfortunately, it is not possible to collect points or use member benefits without the app.  

Do online purchases also earn me points?

As an omnichannel shopping village, you earn points from purchases made both in-store and online. Simply scan your receipt to collect points!

Do I need to be a member of Helsinki Outlet to use the app?

Yes. Log in to the application with existing credentials or register as a new Friends member.  

How do I earn points from my purchases?

Scan a picture of the receipt or add a photo from your phone to the app. The system automatically recognises your purchase details and adds points to your account. Note that it may take some time for points to transfer.  

Why haven't I received my points immediately?

Some receipts undergo thorough review before approval, so it may take a few days to receive your points.

My receipt was accepted, but I didn't receive points for my purchases?

You earn points for purchases made after your registration. You can begin collecting points once you have downloaded the app and registered as a Helsinki Outlet Friends member.

How should I handle returns?

Scan the return receipt into the application. Returns from online store orders are automatically recorded.  

Why should I use the app?

Collecting points earns you valuable benefits, offers, and prizes. Advancing to the next level unlocks even better rewards. As a member, you will be the first to know about new benefits and events, receive invitations to pre-purchase campaigns, enjoy unique member offers, gain benefits from our partners, and receive invites to member events, VIP openings, free deliveries from our online shop, double points, and surprise gifts. Based on your purchase information, we get to tailor offers and events related to your interests.  

How do I update my contact information?

Under the Friends logo in the upper right corner of the app, you can edit your contact details. 

How many membership levels are there, and how do they differ from each other?

There are three membership levels: Friend, Close Friend, and Best Friend. The more points you collect, the higher you progress in the levels—and the better benefits you receive.  

Friends level: You have less than 500 points. 

Close Friend level: You have 500-1000 points. 

Best Friend level: You have more than 1000 points.

Is the app free?

The app is available for free download from the app store.  

Do I earn points when purchasing with a gift card?

The payment method does not affect your ability to earn points; ensure you scan into the app the receipt from your purchase.   


I have received an electronic receipt in my email. What should I do?

An electronic receipt functions the same as a physical one. Take a picture of the electronic receipt and add it to the application. The system recognises your purchase information automatically.  

How much later can I scan the receipt into the app?

The receipt must be scanned into the application within 14 days of the purchase date. 

How can I take advantage of membership offers in stores?

You can take advantage of a one-time offer or benefit by showing the coupon from the app to the store staff at the checkout. You can enjoy membership offers by showing your membership level displayed in the application (Friend, Close Friend, or Best Friend) at the checkout.
