Its waterproof, dirt-repellent ReimaTec material keeps your child dry and comfortable in rainy and windy weather. The jacket's seams are carefully taped to prevent water from seeping in. However, the outer fabric is breathable, making the jacket comfortable even in fair weather, especially since the mesh lining in the body area further supports breathability. The special feature of the outer fabric is the Seawool® fibers: they contain finely ground, recycled oyster shells! The shell bits give the recycled polyester fabric good properties and a slightly softer feel.
