PUHDAS COLLECTION:
The Puhdas jewelry collection took shape over the years in Annika’s mind as she traveled the world and spent time in nature. Light, delicate forms resonated with her, and in the hands of jeweler Lotta Kukkola, these inspiring shapes were transformed into jewelry. Ideas were first sketched onto paper; forms were drawn line by line and curve by curve, echoing the tiny petals of real flowers.
Based on these sketches, Lotta began handcrafting prototypes in her own workshop. Setting aside the pencil, she took up her silversmithing tools to refine the final forms of the pieces. Once the prototypes were complete and approved by Annika, Lotta created molds for them. The original designs and molds were then sent forward for production. This jewelry collection has been awarded the "Design from Finland" mark. This label indicates that the product was designed in Finland and that significant investment has been made into its design.
Silver-plated jewelry
Silver-plated jewelry is a more affordable alternative to solid silver. It offers a cost-effective way to add striking pieces to your jewelry collection.
Silver-plated jewelry will remain beautiful for a long time if cared for correctly. Avoid wearing it in the shower, during activities that cause sweating, or exposing it to chemical sprays.
Hopeapuro’s silver-plated jewelry is nickel-free. We personally test every new batch of jewelry for the presence of nickel. You can use a silver cleaner for maintenance. It is best to clean or polish your jewelry before it begins to tarnish; with regular care, silver-plated pieces will retain their beauty.
It is recommended to store silver-plated jewelry in an airtight box or pouch.
The base material beneath the plating of Hopeapuro’s silver-plated jewelry is brass.
The stones are synthetic zirconia—a durable material that remains beautiful and lustrous throughout use.
