A new coffee experience at the touch of a button
With the Blooming Prime coffee maker, you can prepare a more flavorful and rich coffee with just one touch of a button. The Blooming function automates the Pour Over hand brewing method favored by baristas, where the coffee grounds are allowed to bloom and "rest" for about 30 seconds before the actual filtration process. This releases the carbon dioxide trapped in the coffee beans during roasting, eliminating bitterness and allowing the natural sweetness and rich aroma of the coffee to shine through.
Once the blooming button is pressed, the water heats up to the ideal 92-96 degree filtration temperature. The filtration process begins and lasts for about one minute. After that, the coffee grounds are allowed to rest for about half a minute, during which the chemical blooming process starts and carbon dioxide is released. The filtration then continues for 4-5 minutes. The special lid of the carafe mixes the flavors evenly into the coffee from the first cup. Finally: Voilà! Enjoy a cup of richer and more aromatic coffee.

The heating element power is up to 1,690 W, allowing the brewer to filter 1.25 liters of coffee in 5-7 minutes, which is an ideal brewing time. The filtration water temperature is 92-96 degrees, perfect for extracting all the best flavors from the coffee grounds. The temperature of the brewed coffee remains at 85 degrees.
