A New Coffee Experience at the Touch of a Button
With the Blooming Prime coffee maker, you can brew richer and fuller-flavored coffee with just one button press. The innovative Blooming function automates the barista-favorite Pour Over manual brewing method, where the coffee grounds are allowed to bloom—moisten and rest—for about 30 seconds before actual filtration begins. This process releases carbon dioxide trapped during roasting, eliminating bitterness and allowing the coffee’s natural sweetness and rich aroma to fully develop.
How It Works
After pressing the blooming button, water heats to the ideal brewing temperature of 92–96°C (197–205°F). Filtration starts and lasts about one minute, followed by a 30-second blooming pause during which the chemical blooming process releases carbon dioxide. Filtration then continues for 4–5 minutes. The special carafe lid evenly stirs the aromas into the coffee from the very first cup. The result: a cup of coffee with enhanced richness and aroma.
User-Friendly Design
The coffee maker features two clear buttons, a magnetic filter holder that locks securely in place, and an uncoated, easy-to-clean warming plate. Both the water reservoir and glass carafe include measurement markings for convenience.
