Roosa Norja is an artist and psychologist who creates abstract art using acrylic paints. Her works are characterized by softly blended, misty color compositions and metallic gold leaf details.

“I am inspired by human relationships, different color tones and their combinations, nature, music, and psychological phenomena. In nature, I am especially fascinated by clouds, the sky, and light, which often find their way into my works in one form or another. Through my work as a psychologist, I have encountered a wide range of questions related to the human mind, and part of my art draws from these themes. In recent years, a recurring theme in my paintings has been parenthood, especially motherhood – I want to capture the bond, sense of security, and presence between parent and child. 

I usually start with a rough idea in mind, but the final result often surprises me. I consider a painting complete when it feels balanced and beautiful. Creating art for homes, as part of everyday life, is particularly meaningful to me. Art brings personality into homes and completes the interior.”
