“Sumu hälvenee” art exhibition invites you to pause and breathe in landscapes of rest. The paintings explore the preciousness hidden within life’s many shades and fleeting moments – something we can discover when we take the time to slow down. They tell a story of surrendering our burdens and our hearts into greater hands.

Jenni Rajala is an artist, entrepreneur and mother from Sipoo, Finland. Her delicate works often look “towards the light”. She draws inspiration from different seasons and stages of life, the struggles and longings of the human heart, as well as the comfort and enduring hope found in the promises of the Bible. The spiritual and the human exist side by side in her work.

Jenni seeks to convey sacred beauty and childlike joy through a style that allows the brushstrokes to remain visible. She works primarily with acrylic paint on canvas, occasionally incorporating other materials and techniques, such as texture, charcoal and oil pastels, to bring her works to life.
